Lafayette Square Savannah, GA Surprise Proposal

Anderson reached out wanting to surprise his longtime girlfriend Preeya with a Savannah proposal. We discussed a variety of locations with that give that southern charm Spanish moss adorned Savannah feel. He ultimately chose Lafayette Square next to the cathedral downtown. Together we discussed time of day, best lighting, and planned where to stand ahead of time.

It went off without a hitch! Despite their plans changing last minute, Anderson was able keep the secret and simply told his now fiancé that they were going for a nice dinner a short distance from the square.

When they arrived I was already on site and playing the role of “tourist” taking photos of the church. It wasn’t until after the ring was on and and hugs were complete that Preeya even noticed my presence.

Enjoy a snippet of the images we were able to collect in a quick 15 minute post proposal shoot. Their gallery was typical of Tangible’s shooting style- a good mix of traditional poses, candids, detail shots, and a few artsy compositions thrown in for added flare. Notice the square and the complete lack of people, trash, cars, etc in the background; this is what “clean images” means to us. I wouldn’t want the distractions in my own personal photos, so I make every effort to make sure they are never in yours either.
